HAMV has a number of volunteer opportunities coming up. Specifically, we will be looking for folks to come to a training to volunteer to be "conversation facilitators" for our Advance Care Planning work, meaning that you will learn how to present to a small group about how to take charge of your own health, talk with you family and physician about what's important to you (especially in a medical emergency), and inspire people to get their documents in order so their families and physicians know their wishes. If this interests you, I'll be sending out information about dates of the training and I'll put you on the list.
We're also looking for someone with technology-know-how, who can help us update and maintain our mailing list and help with tech stuff such as newsletters and large-item sharing.
