how do i get there?

As part of the initial coalition efforts research was done on what transportation options are available today. Click HERE to download.

We are working on creating a directory to share with all Older Adults so you can be informed on all your options. This should be available in 2022.

GOGoGRANDPARENt Pilot Program

The Older Adult Transportation Coalition is sponsoring the GoGoGrandparent Pilot Program. This program provides both scheduled and on demand car rides for essential and enrichment activities for Older Adults. This pilot program began in July 2021, and is still accepting participants. All costs are covered due to a grant we received from the Martha's Vineyard Community Foundation.

Check out this article from MV Times about the program progess!

2020 survey; Transportation results

In late 2020 HAMV conducted a survey with Older Adults (2,500 respondents) to learn more about how they contribute to the island, how they live and feel, and what they need.

Please click through the slideshow below for results from the 2020 survey (specifically the questions about transportation).
