Making Martha's Vineyard an Aging-Friendly Island
MV Older adult transportation Coalition
Mission Statement:
To ensure that there are adequate options for both on-island enrichment and essential (medical) transportation needs for older adults, as well as off-island medical transport.

how do i get there?
As part of the initial coalition efforts research was done on what transportation options are available today. Click HERE to download.
We are working on creating a directory to share with all Older Adults so you can be informed on all your options. This should be available in 2022.
GOGoGRANDPARENt Pilot Program
The Older Adult Transportation Coalition is sponsoring the GoGoGrandparent Pilot Program. This program provides both scheduled and on demand car rides for essential and enrichment activities for Older Adults. This pilot program began in July 2021, and is still accepting participants. All costs are covered due to a grant we received from the Martha's Vineyard Community Foundation.
